Mine hoisting wire rope refers to the steel wire rope used to connect the hoisting container and transfer the power of the mine hoist. It is an important part of wire rope lifting equipment. It is directly related to the normal production of the mine, the safety of personnel life and the economic operation of the equipment. Many countries have occurred in the mine rope accident, and some cause shutdown and significant economic losses, resulting in casualties, so the mine hoisting wire rope should be reasonable selection, proper use, careful maintenance.
Generally, a plurality of steel wires are twisted into strands, and then thousands of strands (mostly 6 strands) are twisted around the rope core to make ropes. The material of the rope core is sisal or synthetic fiber. The twisted direction of the sealed steel wire rope with steel wire as the rope core is divided into left twist and right twist. Those with the same twisting direction of the rope strand and the same twisting direction of the steel wire in the strand are called along (in the same direction) twisting wire rope, and vice versa, reverse twisting (interactive) wire rope. The straight twist wire rope is softer than the reverse twist wire rope, the surface is smooth, and the contact area with the rope groove is large.
