    The idlers are classified into aligning idlers, buffer idlers, groove idlers and parallel idlers according to their uses. The function of the aligning roller is to correct the deviation of the belt conveyor. Usually, the rotary groove-shaped aligning roller is installed on the heavy load section of the conveyor, and the parallel aligning roller is installed on the no-load section. The buffer roller is applied to the tail frame according to the actual situation. When receiving materials, it can reduce the impact of materials on the belt, which is beneficial to the service life of the long belt. Groove roller is generally composed of two side rollers and a flat roller, groove angle is generally 30 degrees, for detachable belt conveyor, groove roller three rollers hinged together, so called articulated roller. The parallel idler is generally a long roller, which is installed at the lower end under pressure, so it is called the lower idler.
